3 stars and this is just based on my experience with the lady that provided this service. 1. Horrible job on my cuticles. 2. I’m still speechless on the paint job. Bubbles and how discombobulated it looks. I went back to ask a question on how to remove this gel polish quick and they scattered and the lady in the front was practically stunned and kinda didn’t know what to respond so I asked if acetone would work and she said yeah. My daughter got her nails done and they’re absolutely perfect and beautiful. Hence why 3 stars and not one. This is based on my experience today with that specific lady. I wish I got her name. But I didn’t. I’ve never left a review before online. I was just so thrown off by the fact that they didn’t even offer to redo them or anything. Also my daughter is 12 and their price list says “12 and under” is a certain price and they charged for hers as an adult. Then try to tell me that oh yeah 12 and up is adult price, like what? Then your list should say “11 and under”. I guess is on me for giving a new place a chance.

I came for removal only of my gel nail polish. I had been getting my nails done at a different salon further from my house but decided to take a break. My nails were in great condition over multiple gel changes over several months. This place is close to my house so stopped in quickly to get it removed. While removing the gel she used an electric file and damaged all of my nail beds. So all of my nails are irregular with divots and ridges throughout. This will take months to grow out. Very disappointing.

I had to walk out! My patience ran out. The old lady was slow, took forever and did a terrible job and I just couldn’t let her finish. That lady is too old to be working there and doing nails. I told them I was not satisfied and I wanted to pay and leave. They offered to have someone else finish up. I said no because I do not want to be sitting in a place of business when I clearly know they will be talking about me in their language. I was not happy with what that old lady was doing but I paid anyway. The place is nice but the work is mediocre

I have been to a lot of salons in West Hartford/Hartford and Anna’s is the only one that constantly does a good enough job to keep me coming back. I regularly get gel nail polish and it lasts for two weeks (which is amazing because I work with my hands. Regular polish doesn’t last a day without chipping at my job). They may be more expensive than some others in the area but you get what you pay for!

This was my first and last visit here. I live in Stamford, CT.I was visiting family and they recommended this nail salon. The business was very clean and the staff were welcoming. Nail tech I had was not confident in herself. She seemed intimidated when I was showing her imperfections as she was working on my nails. Shaping and arching of a couple nails could have been better. I will get them fixed when I get back home.
